Barry Stephens

Barry Stephens is a British Army veteran who served seventeen years across both regular and reserve forces, including service with the King’s Own Border Regiment, the Duke of Lancaster’s Regiment, and the Royal Artillery. His operational experience includes multiple deployments, most notably Operation Telic in Iraq. Drawing on his military heritage and personal experiences, Barry brings an authentic perspective to his writing, exploring themes of camaraderie, resilience, trauma, and hope. His debut novel, Tyneham’s Portal, reflects those influences through a story shaped by both military experience and imagination. Barry lives in Hampshire, England, with his partner and family.
